Donald Edwards, BSc, AEMT-P, PCP

Originally certified as a Paramedic in New York state in 1981, Don worked out of Greater Buffalo for several years before coming home to Ontario. He began teaching almost immediately after becoming licensed at Niagara Community College in Sanborn, NY.

As part of a Ministry of Health mobile instruction team, he taught Basic Trauma Life Support to paramedics all over South Central Ontario. Don went on to found his own special events EMS company, Medstat, and successfully ran that until his first retirement. We were lucky to get Don to come out of retirement and into the classroom. Don is a member of the National Society of EMS Instructor/Coordinators and the National Society of EMT-Paramedics.
