Basic & Intermediate First Aid
Basic First Aid is an 8-hour course that covers the most serious conditions
Intermediate First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
We only provide courses in English

Duration
Blended Intermediate First Aid: 8 hours of online learning, 5.5-7.5 hours of teaching time
Re-Certification
Intermediate First Aid: 6.5–7.5 hours, includes CPR Level A or C and AED, and adheres to local legislation
Blended Intermediate First Aid: 4 hours online learning, 3-4 hours of teaching time
Completion
Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation; 75% minimum passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.
Certification
3-year certification in Intermediate First Aid, CPR Level A or C, and AED.
