Advanced Courses

Emergency First Response is an 80 hour course with a prerequisite of standard first aid. It additionally covers responding to emergencies, oral and nasal airways, suctioning, bi-valve masks and basic stretchers. 

 

Emergency Medical Response is a 120-160 hour course that covers all the same material as the EFR course, but also includes the King airway system, obstetrical and psychological incidents, advanced stretchers, neurological assessments,  abdominal pain, and chest injuries.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is an eight-hour course designed for healthcare providers and covers recognition and intervention in cases of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
