We know anaphylaxis is a life-threatening condition. Anyone with anaphylaxis should carry an Epi-Pen, and most do. Especially when away from medical help. Did you know that anaphylaxis often needs more than one dose? Yet, most people only carry one. Not to worry, you can get more than one dose out of your epi-pen. In fact, you can get up to five doses from an epi-pen.
There has been some controversy about doing this, a couple of physicians think it is dangerous. I would agree if you are in an urban area, but this was shown for "Wilderness" emergencies.
